Outland To Relocate Operations Office
January 12, 2007 - Chaska, Minnesota

Outland Renewable Energy, LLC announced today it has finalized planning for the relocation of the company’s Operations Office from rural Gary, South Dakota to Canby, Minnesota.

Outland will be leasing 4,200 square feet of office, shop and storage space from retired Canby businessman Richard Birk. The facility, formerly known as the Nordquist Furniture building, is located one block east of the US Highway 75 and MN Highway 68 intersection near downtown Canby. The front office area of the building will undergo an extensive renovation prior to April 1, 2007 which is the target date for the relocation.

The Canby facility will serve as the national base for Outland’s Administrative and Operational group and certain Development activities. Four full time employees will move into the facility immediately after the renovation is complete with additional staff moving in shortly there-after.

“A key component of the relocation was to identify a facility that would accommodate our growth and technical needs for the next 5 to 7 years,” states Steve Scott, COO for Outland. “We looked at facilities in Tracy, Hendricks, Ghent and Clear Lake. Ultimately, the sense of community and convenience of Canby coupled with initiative of the Canby EDA and Mr. Birk made the difference.”
