Outland Hires Chief Development Officer Outland Renewable Energy, LLC announced today that it has hired Daniel Rustowicz as its Chief Development Officer. Rustowicz comes to Outland from John Deere Credit where he was the Manager, Business Development – Wind Energy. He was instrumental in leading Deere & Company’s entry into the industry in 2004. Prior to joining John Deere, he was a Senior Auditor for Ernst & Young, LLP. Rustowicz, a Certified Public Accountant, received his MBA from the Graduate School of Industrial Administration at Carnegie Mellon University. Tom Melone, Chairman and CEO of Outland, indicates, “Dan is a rising star in the wind industry with considerable experience in the area of community based wind development. We’re fortunate to have someone with his background and passion on our team, and look forward to him leading the development efforts of all Outland wind plants.” Rustowicz commented, “It’s easy to get excited about Outland as the Company has a diverse and talented management group, desires to improve and sustain the rural communities it does business in, and was founded on strong unwavering core values. I am thrilled to be a part of the Outland team and look forward to the growth opportunities before us.” Rustowicz will operate out of Outland’s Corporate Offices located in Chaska (Minneapolis). He and his family will be relocating to the area in the near future. |
