7/27/06 - Outland Hires COO 

CHASKA – Outland Renewable Energy, LLC announced today that it has hired Steve Scott as its Chief Operating Officer. 

Prior to Joining Outland, Steve was Vice President of Business Development for Gary, South Dakota based Energy Maintenance Service, LLC.

After graduating from Augustana College in 1990 with a degree in Business Administration, Steve spent 12 years in the business development arena working for both publicly and privately traded entities including Marshall, Minnesota based Schwan's Sales Enterprises and Eden Prairie, Minnesota based C.H. Robinson, Inc.

Steve has extensive hands on experience in the area's of defining staff skill-set criteria, hiring and staff development, market definition and segmentation, financial management, marketing and sales management.

Outland Renewable Energy, LLC is a Chaska, Minnesota based renewable energy firm focused on developing, owning and operating commercial renewable energy projects in partnership with landowners, rural communities and municipalities.
