Greenfield Development Greenfield projectsare large - 50 to 500 MWs - and are developed entirely in-house from inception to commercial operation. The company's greenfield developments are primarily in the Midwest today but are extending to the south, west and east.
Co-Development Co-development projects range from 5 to 150 MWs and rely on and utilize local developer expertise to accelerate the project development cycle. The co-development partnerships allow Outland to diversify our development offerings by securing exclusive near term projects and relationship arrangements.
Financing Outland provides initial capital to fund early to mid-stage development activities in exchange for a long-term ownership position in the project. As a part of the development process, Outland provides financing solutions for all of its projects via debt and tax-equity financing offerings to institutional investors and commercial/rural utility service providers. Additionally, Outland is open to providing advance equity payments for turbines in partnership with others.
